Interview
You complete a 5-10 minute telephone interview before being called into a two stage group interview if you're successful. Before the group interview you're asked to complete an hour long online behavioral test which, if you're hired, is also used throughout your future training to cater to your personality type as well as to assist with deciding on your store placement.
During the first stage of the group interview you're tested on your geographical knowledge, basis maths skills and are then asked to perform a mock travel consultation to test sales skills/attitude.
If you 'pass' these, you move onto a second stage where they look at your attitude and motivators before pulling you into groups of three for a more formal interview process with standard interview questions regarding past experience.

Question 1
Describe a time, in previous work experience, when you went above and beyond for a customer?

Interview
Initially started as group stages, being asked questions to whittle our people they probably saw as having too much pre-existing sales type focus. The more formal interview was comfortable and not stressful. This was done in groups of 3.

Tell us about a time you went above and beyond to deliver amazing customer service.

Interview
Got an invite for a 15 minute phone interview the day after I applied. The recruitment specialist was extremely kind and informative, he asked basic questions pertaining to my resume and gave a brief breakdown of the job.
I was immediately moved to the next stage which was a 45 minute phone interview with the same person, going more in-depth of the job, and more personalized questions from a personality/skill quiz which took about an hour to complete. 10 questions, the last 3 were timed and included deciphering backwards sentences and basic math.
After the second phone interview, I was invited to an in-store assessment day where I completed a work book consisting of fun geography sections such as capital cities, airport codes, time zones, etc. I then had a 1:1 with my manager and it was super casual and easy-going. Probably the best interview i've ever had.
Next day I was offered the job, which was subject to 2 reference checks.

What is your best quality that you would bring to this job?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Flight Centre Travel Group (Calgary, AB) in Nov 2017
Interview
Many questions, asking about both past travel experience, past work experience and where you'd like to travel to next. Very easy going and allows for real conversation. The interviewer really broke down what the corporate culture was like and helped me become more interested in the job.
