Applied online, very shortly after a telephone interview followed. It's super easy, just have a chat and make it known that you are well aware that it's a "sales" job, they want sales people.
Interview is a long day, make sure you research capital cities, popular attractions in Aus, Thailand, US - other popular Flight Centre destinations. Research national carriers too. The maths test is pretty simple, don't freak out. Read the questions carefully and note the fine print at the bottom of the questions and scenarios, just answer them normally - it is not a complicated test so don't overthink it.
Role play is next and probably the most important. If you're experienced in sales it's pretty easy. However if not, confidence is the key. You are to sell a holiday, and make sure you close. Beware - expect an objection from the interviewer such as "I found it cheaper online so I'll just book it there, thanks". Find your own way around these objections.
Next they separate into two groups, they send more than half home which is pretty rough. It's pretty relaxed for the rest of the day, we did a working in teams exercise and a 1 on 1 interview.
It's quite a long day and I was pretty drained after it, the interviewers are pretty serious and are keen to just get to the end of everything; therefore no time for joking around.
I'm waiting to hear back from them. Good luck
