From start to finish, there was no consideration for my time. There was a large amount of back and forth with an initial HR coordinator who stood me up for a video call and then a phone interview. On both occasions I proactively reached out and was given a slew of excuses including technological malfunctions and a scheduling conflict during the time he had confirmed for our interview.
Upon providing feedback and requesting to speak with another member of his team I was contacted by his boss, their Americas Talent Acquisition Team Leader. She was lovely and I was able to complete the initial phone screening within 24 hours.
Following that I was selected for a second round interview with the hiring managers - this was initially communicated to be the final step of the process. The interview went smoothly and I was told I would hear back by the end of the week following about a third interview with a short presentation component. I did not hear back. On the Monday of the week following their self-appointed timeline, I reached out with a thank you and follow up note.
It's been radio silence ever since. I just sent an email today outlining my disappointment in the process and providing feedback in the hopes that they treat future candidates more respectfully. Leaving an email unanswered and a candidate hanging for almost a full month is completely unacceptable, unprofessional and rude. I'm secure in a full time role with a company I like so this wasn't huge loss for me, but I recommend using caution when applying to this organization.
