I applied online. Two days later I got an email to pick a time for a brief phone interview. You had to call them at the time you picked. The phone interview was easy. We were asked questions like 'what do you joe about flight centre' 'where have you traveled in the last 5 years' 'where do you see yourself in the next 5 years career wise'. After the phone interview they had shortlisted me to the group assessment 3 days later. Before that we have to do an online psychometric test which took 1.5 hours to complete. It asked the same behavioural questions over and over again. There were three times tests. I didn't have enough time to complete any of the tests but I don't think completion was the point. At the group assessment they show you videos about the company, talk about the company and then you do some group exercises. First you have to sell your partner. Then you are broken up into groups of three. One of you is the architect, another the builder and the third a stand in architect. The architect and the stand in try to explain the object on the broad. We did this twice and the second time my group got it right. Then they talked more about the company. The pay, commission structure, etc. After that you have a written test to take. It was pretty simple with questions like 'if a client is on a 7 hour flight to London and there is a 6 hour time difference what time would they get there if they left at noon' 'name 6 ski locations' 'what country would you recommend for a honeymoon' and then on the last page you had to write an email to a client. Then you went in one by one for a mock sales pitch. One of the recruiters pretended to go on vacation while the other watched and reviewed. Then at the end they talked more and more about the company and asked everyone when they could start, where they would like to work, etc. All in all it took 4 hours. Thought I did amazing at the end but got a call a week later that I was unsuccessful with no explanation. Not sure what went wrong. Maybe I'm too young. Who knows. Feels like I wasted so much time.
