Had the group interview today, there was about 30 people in the group, as at one stage you pair up.
They first show you short videos about the company, then you get paired with a person to say why they would be good for the company.
Then the lady explains that with the tests they don't expect you to know all the questions and to 'wing it' but from what i seen today yes they do judge as much as they say they don't. ( 2 people in my group had been flight attendants ) so naturally the went all the way through.
You are then given 2 tasks to do, 1 is an itinerary that you have to calculate percentages and commission as well as get the right answers to the questions. And the 2nd one was geography and capital cities of countries.
While you are doing that, the ladies start asking people to go in to do a 4 minute sale pitch, (the customer is the workers at flight center ) they sit there and time you, today there was 1 lady in a room doing solo sales with 1 person at a time and in the other room there was 2 ladies (which was a put off as you couldn't focus as much)
After that you have a quick 10-15 min break, then a lady comes back in with the papers from your tasks, all the names they call they go into an other room to wait and the people who don't get called they are the people that het sent home.
All in all not the best group/interview experience only because they say don't stress just 'wing it' its all fine, and then do a backhander and pick people who are already associated within the industry is a bit crap, but a leaning curve to say the least.
Best advice know capital cities, and be confident when doing your 4 min sales pitch, practice on friends.
Ask questions like type of accommodation, cost of flights, transfers etc etc. After all they are the ones who say make it up, they don't expect you to know all the places.
Hope that helps.
