I applied online. I interviewed at Flight Centre Travel Group (Brisbane) in Jan 2016
Interview
Applied online. Recieved an email having to select an appropriate date and time for a phone interview, I picked a later date so I could prepare. Basic questions as many others have listed already on here. Didn't have to wait for them to get back to me because she congratulated me straight away for making it through to the assessment day in Brisbane. Had to do an online personality test which you aren't marked on. This tests helps them decide which store you would work well in and the people you would work well with. The assessment day is a long day! 8am-2pm. Make sure you prepare, go through all the comments on glassdoor and make sure you brush up on your geography and percentage skills. There was about 25 people in my group. You will have to "sell your partner" to the group, just remember they arent judging your partner on your sales pitch, they are looking at YOUR selling and interaction skills. I think my partner didn't understand this when he apologised to me for not doing well in his sales pitch lol!
You will also have to sell a holiday to one of the interviewers, remember to ask lots of questions and get excited for them! Close the deal! Don't take no for an answer! I had to sell a holiday to London, which threw me off a bit because I had fully prepared myself to get bali of Fiji.
If you do well in your geography, maths and holiday pitch you will get asked to stay for the next round, the rest will get sent home. Only 8 of us got through to the next round! They provide you some sandwhiches for lunch and then bring you back into the room to watch more videos on why flight centre is great and go more into detail about the pay structure. They then divide the group up into 2's or 3's and take you for "one on one" interviews. It's not really one on one though because there are two or three candidates to one interviewer. Bit daunting, having someone listening to your awkward interview answers. they do not ask you the same questions so doesn't matter who goes first. I then waited 3 days and recieved a call offering me a position! I start my 3 weeks training in Feb!

Interview
Initially started as group stages, being asked questions to whittle our people they probably saw as having too much pre-existing sales type focus. The more formal interview was comfortable and not stressful. This was done in groups of 3.

Question 1
Tell us about a time you went above and beyond to deliver amazing customer service.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Flight Centre Travel Group (Edmonton, AB) in Sep 2019
Interview
Got an invite for a 15 minute phone interview the day after I applied. The recruitment specialist was extremely kind and informative, he asked basic questions pertaining to my resume and gave a brief breakdown of the job.
I was immediately moved to the next stage which was a 45 minute phone interview with the same person, going more in-depth of the job, and more personalized questions from a personality/skill quiz which took about an hour to complete. 10 questions, the last 3 were timed and included deciphering backwards sentences and basic math.
After the second phone interview, I was invited to an in-store assessment day where I completed a work book consisting of fun geography sections such as capital cities, airport codes, time zones, etc. I then had a 1:1 with my manager and it was super casual and easy-going. Probably the best interview i've ever had.
Next day I was offered the job, which was subject to 2 reference checks.

Question 1
What is your best quality that you would bring to this job?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Flight Centre Travel Group (Calgary, AB) in Nov 2017
Interview
Many questions, asking about both past travel experience, past work experience and where you'd like to travel to next. Very easy going and allows for real conversation. The interviewer really broke down what the corporate culture was like and helped me become more interested in the job.
