Hey guys, so I don't usually write in forums like this but I believe that finding these reviews really helped me in my interview! So if you have stumbled across this like I did then you're definitely on the right track! So basically at the start of the day you get alot of information about Flight centre and are then asked to pair up with someone to "sell" them to the audience. You get around 4 minutes to ask each other questions before presenting them eg: have you travelled before? Where? Etc. You then get up in front of the group and deliver why your chosen partner would be great for the role. Confidence is key! Really sell them, even if they haven't travelled talk about them being friendly and easy to communicate and build a relationship with etc. I Don't think it matters all that much if they give a bad presentation about you as its really about your individual selling techniques so as long as you do a good presentation you'll be fine! Next you have a mathematical and geography quiz which you are given 50 minutes to complete. Don't freak out because I absolutely suck at maths and didn't find it too difficult. The maths side of the test gives you alot of worded scenarios where you have to calculate percentages and prices but they give you a calculator so it's pretty straight forward. Please just make sure you read the questions and information provided, it's all there! I can't stress that part enough.The geography test is also pretty easy. The test asks you to name capital cities of some major places (Australia - Canberra, New Zealand - Wellington, Canada - Ottawa, Singapore - Singapore, USA - Washington DC etc - all pretty straight forward except for Singapore and for some Canada). Know some Australian beaches because we had a list to choose from. Note that within this 50 minute time you'll each be called out one by one for about 5 minutes to sell a holiday to your mentor who acts as a "potential client". Again super easy!
