The day I submitted my resumé, I received an email to set up a phone call. I spoke with a manager in marketing and reviewed my interest in the position and how I learned about the company. On the call, I was offered an "in-person" interview for the following week.
The interview style was a little different. I spoke to the head of marketing, director of social media and creative writing, then the customer success manager who I had previously met at a corporate panel. Each had different questions, but provided time for me to ask my own questions about their respective roles within Flock Safety and what their journey to this startup looked like. I was given a tour of the office and introduced to additional team members in a variety of departments before ending the interview.
By the end of the week, I was offered the position. I accepted based on such a positive presentation of the company, an open environment that allowed communication among teams, hands-on approaches to projects across the country and a personal interview experience that made me feel valued on the first day.
I accepted within the week and I love coming to work every day!
