      I interviewed at Flock

      The recruiter Jessica was a delight and the first two stages were a breeze. Then came the assessment. The job description does warn you, and they insist you apply if you don't think you mark off every requirement, they make you feel comfortable. They ask you to do whole project for them outside of your 9-6. I put in a lot of work into my assessment. I quickly got approved onto the next round. I then did the first panel interview. The interviewer was a bit late, but that happens, but then continued to disengage entirely. It was painfully clear she was not paying attention. I had to repeat a few things because she wasn't listening when I said them the first time and was so tuned out it was hard to keep a positive mindset throughout the interview. I asked questions and some of her answers didn't even make sense. I was so hopeful a company like Flock would really walk the talk they promoted on their job description but overall, I felt disrespected. I spent time on the assessment, committed time outside of my full time job to really engage in this company and potential role but then was completely brushed off. I don't know why this happened, maybe they had someone in mind already and were just checking boxes with me but I really thought Flock could give me the culture I've so desperately been missing working remote but the cold shoulder told me everything I need to know about this company. I
