Foundation for California Community Colleges Call Center Agent interview questions

A recruiter contacted me within a day of completing the job application to go over the position. The position is limited term contract meaning the contract could end within 6 months or sooner. Once you agree to the terms of the position, the recruiter schedules you for a phone interview which they ask job experience questions. After that, then you are moved to a video interview with management. Overall, the interview process is ridiculous for what the position is! How come make people go through panels of interview over a position that is short-termed? Doesn’t make any sense and on top of that be extra picky when choosing candidates? Waste of time if you ask me.
