I knew FMCNA was unprofessional, having previous worked for them; however, I was hoping that things had changed since we parted ways in 2020.
The interviewer started off asking how much I want--first question. I said "between $17-19, as I had received a job offer from a WFH company for $19 and was hoping Fresenius could match it". I know my worth, plus the time, hours, etc 19 is lowballing imo. He asked, with concern, why I would rather work for Fresenius when I'm getting a $19/hour job. I said why etc. He then asked me what kind of job (red flag), I said WFH. No, what kind of job? (RED FLAG dos) I said inbound calling. He said with whom? (RED FLAG NUMERO TRES). I said with whom, and he starts laughing, and said "in my experience, no one likes inbound call center jobs, haha I'm not worried." Okay wow I immediately felt uncomfortable since he just laughed in my face at a denigrated how I'm feeling so wow.
Questions asked were how do you deal with stress at work? And how do you work on a group project--this isn't verbatim but gist like how do you get a group goal accomplished.
I asked "does the clinic have a high turnover rate?" I didn't use the Fresenius code word of "in need" (honestly, I forgot that term, since what I want to know, candidly, is if it's a challenging clinic since YOU SHOULD KNOW what you're walking into--don't sing me sweet nothings, I need realistic expectations bro) and he said the CM has NEVER asked him to look for employees. I asked her name to get info for the potential interview, tone was cold and rude--almost like How Dare I.
Then towards the end, I asked the name of the clinic because it was named some vague like "West LA," which doesn't help pinpoint location. I had previously stated in the "interview" I am moving from another city and they say you should live within "25 miles from the clinic to reduce drive time;" one would naturally think knowing the area to IDK help select a place to rent wouldn't be an offensive question, would it? Apparently, that triggered him, as I could hear his tone change. I said "I wanted to check reviews and look around the area"--I kid you not, he tells me "the website I'm looking at is wrong" Wot? He said "ma'am let me tell you, in my years of experience, those reviews are made by individuals who are mad at the time they write them, and that website you're looking at (?????) wants companies to pay them $30,000 to remove those negative reviews."
For clarity, I had no idea what website "I'm looking at" since I wasn't looking at any--I was taking bloody notes. He's accusing me of something I'm not doing and just the tone in which he was speaking was so unprofessional.
I have it all on video, since I'm in my home and have cameras on, so I called HR. Forget them. Red Alert, Red Flag, Matadors waving muleta, RUN AWAY.
I hope he calls back in all honesty, so I can tell him what a horrible professional he is.
I'm sure I wont get the job, since he's "passing along my info to the CM," but my previous experience with them is on par with how bad my experience was with them this year.
