Interview
I was invited to FreshDesk Software Engineer role by a consultancy. The process took place on 24th Feb 2018. We were asked to report at 10AM and the process started at 10.30AM. There were around 30 people for the same role. First round was pen and paper test where candidates were rejected based upon the kind of code they wrote. After this round, 12 remained. Then we had 2 Technical face to face sessions with 2 different team members. The interviewers were very good in knowledge and making you feel comfortable. The interviewer never acknowledged what the correct answer was unless you ask them at the end of the discussion. The session lasted around 30-45 minutes. Even if you struggled, interviewers would help you breakdown the question and get the answer from you without you even knowing that you knew the answer. After this the General HR discussion took place and it was cool. They also offered free lunch, snacks and coffee for all the candidates(free food but good food). Around 8PM and we were left with 5-6 people and they asked us to break for the day and that they will contact us in 2 days time, we were also asked to send some proofs like salary slips, ctc slip, salary revision slip and any benefits slip. Today (26th Feb 2018), I got the offer from them and it was more than what I had asked. Thanks FreshWorks team!! Waiting to join you guys soon...

Great and it was kinda long but ok. They ask a lot of questions but they were average. I would not accept the job offer however as for my level this company is not a great fit.
