Not the best firsthand experience. I applied for a CSM role and received an invite for a call with their HR team. 5mins into the call, the lady is talking about an Account executive role that I would be a good fit for. I asked why we weren’t talking about the CSM role and she said they didn’t think I had the experience but felt I would be good for the Account manager role. Would have appreciated some sort of “not a right fit” email after I had applied instead of wasting my time prepping for an interview that never went anywhere. Didn’t feel the need to continue the discussion so ended the call very quickly

Question 1
Didn’t even get the first question as I ended the call pretty quickly
not much information - decided to move ahead with another candidate as there was urgency, however they said i was the perfect candidate, abit confusing as I had explained no notice was required. Could be more informative with their feedback.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Freshworks in Dec 2024
Interview
It is exhaustive. The first round took more than 2 hours.
The following rounds took its own sweet time which made a frustrating journey. Lunch was provided. However, the treatment was not good enough considering the role.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Freshworks in Apr 2024
Interview
I had 2 Rounds of interview along with an assessment test.
The first round was somewhat casual and it went pretty well.
Post which I was informed to create a presentation pitch for with all the product details and it's offerings.
I was given about 5 days time to complete the presentation.
After a thorough research, and spending a lot of time to perfect my pitch and presentation, I was ready for my 2nd round.
During the interview, the hiring manager was not even aware of which round I was in and was confused with what had been informed to me by her colleagues.
It pitched the product, it went well.
And I was informed that they will get back to me shortly.
I waited for a day or two, and the HR got back to me saying that there were no openings in the company as of now, but they told they'll reach out to me if something comes up.
And I still haven't heard back from them since.
