I have recently given interview for SSE - UI The process was smooth, kudos to the HR. The interviewer made feel inferior. They gave a problem statement to create an UI. I asked interviewer before I proceed, can i use react?, interviewer said ok, but don't use any external library. I said fine, I implemented the solution in reactjs in codesandbox, without using any external library and used css in js, then the interviewer intervened after 25 mins, saying that how would you implement with plain CSS? If this was the only criteria of judgement, why waste my time to code the entire solution. Then he gave few mins time to implement it in plain CSS. He wanted me to write code in style.css. Looking at my solution, I couldn't think of a place where I have gone wrong. After this my morale went down, and didn't answer any question from there. Waste of time !!!
