I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs in Sep 2020
Interview
It was a good process in general. I applied through the Possibilities summit and was then invited to a superday. The interviewers were relaxed and interested in my story. There was three 30 minute interviews back-to-back.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why Goldman Sachs, why controllers, tell me about yourself. The questions were mostly behavioral.
Video Interview -> Superday (one round more behavioural one more CV based), be thorough with CV and should be good, rest are general behavioral questions like what will you do in a team where there isn't consensus etc
Hirevue, then reference check, then 3-round Superday online. Was asked mostly behavioral questions though occasional drillings into basic finance and accounting concepts. Positive experience, call back from recruiter following interview.
Application, Virtual interview, Virtual super day. Everyone was very friendly and seemed easy-going. It was interesting to be interviewing over Zoom but the company did a good job of trying to make it feel like a normal interview.
