From the HR Team: Perhaps we were too formal in our effort to quickly assess your qualifications. However, it is often the case that interviewees fail to answer direct questions with direct answers. In those cases our professional recruiters will attempt to redirect the applicant back to the questions asked. This is imperative if we are to make a fair and accurate assessment of their qualifications. We often preface specific questions about a candidate’s technical experience with something like, “Without revealing any proprietary information…”, so we have to rely on the applicant to convey their technical expertise without disclosing trade secrets. However, this is seldom a problem. We must have acknowledged that what you do is as you describe it, “very technically complex” given the second interview. But there again, we were seeking specific answers to specific questions about the relevant experience included on your resume.
We take your feedback seriously and will continue our efforts to improve our interviewing techniques accordingly.
