I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Gusto (Denver, CO) in Oct 2019
Interview
Was contacted by an HR member as they has my resume in their system. They say I was a good fit for position and wanted to schedule a phone interview. Scheduled and interview and when the time cam for it no one called me. Finally, someone else called me after fifteen minutes saying that the other person was busy and they would interview me.
Interview was the first stage and was mostly "get to know you" questions, however it seemed like the interviewer was going through the motions and simply reading a list of questions. The questions went well, but their was not a lot of room for depth in the questions.
The next day I was rejected. I thought it was weird for them to reach out to me saying I was a good fit. not give me an honest shot, and then reject me after less than 24 hours. It almost seemed like they needed to fill up interview slots and I was the sucker that they found to do so.
