The interview process was through but enjoyable for me. They really invest the time to understand you as a candidate. Before interviewing you take a personality test and a wonderlic test for intelligence. After that you interview with the recruiting manager, if you get passed that you interview with 2 other portfolio managers.

("personality test") is an assessment that tells us more about what motivating factors will be important to you in the workplace. We use this assessment to help us match candidates to a role that will be motivating to them. The Wonderlic, however, is a cognitive ability assessment which is used to better understand how quickly someone will learn new concepts in the workplace and be able to solve complex problems as well. I couldn't get past the phone interview, which finally happened on the 4th attempt, due to them rescheduling me and then they misses two rescheduled interviews. I thought it went okay but I was told on the same call that they filled the position within and that they'd contact me when they had something else, or I contact them if I see a listing. I did see a listing and contacted them and applied. I ended up getting an email saying they were going with another applicant. I wasn't really given the time of day. Only a phone screen for a position they didn't have. I thought I wanted to work for HG Fenton, but it all worked out in the end because I ended up getting a mega promotion with my existing company. I'm a great employee and I would of been a great asset to HG Fenton, if I was given a chance. I'm glad to work for a company that values me.
