Interview Experience – Level II SDET I interviewed with HCA Healthcare for the Level II – SDET position. The interview process consisted of two technical rounds, one managerial round, and a final HR discussion regarding salary expectations. After successfully completing all the rounds, I received verbal confirmation that I had been selected. I was asked to share my personal and educational documents so that the offer process could be initiated. I was also informed that the offer letter would be released within the next couple of days. However, after waiting without any communication, I followed up with the HR team. To my surprise, I was informed that they were no longer moving forward with my candidature. When I asked for the reason, the HR representative was unable to provide a clear explanation and gave vague responses instead. I found this experience disappointing and unprofessional. If there was any concern regarding my evaluation, it should have been communicated before giving a verbal confirmation of selection and requesting my personal documents. Such inconsistent communication creates unnecessary uncertainty for candidates who invest significant time preparing for and attending multiple interview rounds. I hope the company improves its recruitment process by maintaining transparent communication and ensuring that verbal commitments are made only after the final hiring decision has been approved.
