I applied in-person. I interviewed at HD Supply (Beaverton, OR) in Sep 2016
Interview
it was formal and encouraging. I felt welcome and able to be myself without the tension or nervousness. I enjoyed the process. I will say that the process was one of the easier interviews I have been involved in.
Phone screen- basic 1st phone interview. Recruiter was very rude, condescending and unprofessional. Conversation started with the recruiter stating she only had a few min's to talk?
Have never come across anything like that...
The interview is extremely structured with questions predetermined by HR. There are not a lot of challenging questions, but they are mostly situational which means you need to be ready to speak to your past experiences.
