Interview
First interview was online and only about 10 mins. Very casual chat but also asked some very direct questions but not much of a back and forth because of the time constraints.
I interviewed at Halo Service Solutions (Stowmarket, England)
Interview
The process was very informal, to the point where it actually felt a bit unprofessional at times. It started with a quick 10 minute screening call, then an in person interview at the office in Stowmarket with three members of the team, plus a short 15 minute test beforehand.
The interview itself was conversational and relaxed, which sounds nice, but it was so loose that it was hard to tell what they were actually assessing or whether it was being taken seriously. The questions were mostly light and personal rather than anything structured around the role or your actual skills, which made the whole thing feel a bit random. Worth knowing too that they don’t provide any feedback afterwards, so if it doesn’t work out you’re left with no idea why or how you could improve.
Mixed experience overall. The people were friendly and it’s clearly a fast growing company, but the process could do with a lot more structure and professionalism.
