All communication up until first interview was email only. Spent nearly 3 hours with multiple people during first interview. All meetings were just casual chatting with no real discussion about my background. The hiring manager wasn’t even familiar with the role or who it was that was currently filling the position. They were over-scheduled and running behind and cut time short to try to get back on schedule. Rude, hurried transitions between people, and acted as though it was a bother to be part of the process. I was refused business cards or contact info for follow up and was told to take all questions through the recruiter via email. That recruiter apparently only knows how to set up interviews and not respond to emails or phone calls after the fact. Dodged a bullet. They showed how important people are to the business through the poor recruiting process.
