I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Hilti North America (Toronto, ON) in Dec 2022
Interview
Initial online assessment/personality assessment. Then first interview was via phone with recruiter (fairly standard, talk about yourself, a bit of your experience, very positive experience and easy going recruiter). Recruiter was talked about the role and company which was great (1hr). Second interview was a dual interview with 2 sales managers over a zoom call (1 hour) this was more specific on how you manage a territory, your process and situational/behavior questions on how to deal with clients, how to approach clients and dealing with your best clients etc. overall positive experience, pretty straight forward. Interview wasn't much about your past experience or resume walk through. The final interview was in person with the district manager, another positive experience, more impact questions on your territory approach from previous job to get a better understanding of your experience and a resume walk through to how it would cross over to the role being applied. Took about 1 hr. Overall process from end to end with initial application to final notice took 8 weeks so about 2 months. Unfortunately did not receive offer. Overall a positive learning experience even for a seasoned sales professional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Lots of situational questions, some behavior. Nothing technical. How you manage a territory, planning and processes, challenges, 30/60/90 discussion. Typical sales interview with a mix bag of questions.
I interviewed at Hilti North America (Manchester, England)
Interview
Video consultation, quiz, hand on experience and final interview with managers good experience, friendly people, got to see the job first hand to see if it was what I liked also. Good interview
I interviewed at Hilti North America (Savannah, GA)
Interview
Process was great. Recruiter reached out and did initial screening. I had second interview with the area manager who really did a good job getting to know me and passed me on to the final stage interview with the regional manager. I didn’t get the job, but overall it was a great process with the processes, clarity and honesty you’d expect from a good company.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hilti North America (Grand Rapids, MI) in Oct 2025
Interview
Phone screen with a Hilti-employed recruiter, interviewed with the regional manager, and a final interview with the director of the territory. My interview with the regional manager lasted almost an hour and a half, but I'm not sure if that is the norm.
