Interview
Company contacted my university's Marketing & Analytics professor. They managed to give a short talk on the company and the position. It encouraged me to apply for the position. I contacted the company person asking for her referral on my job application. I was contacted by the HR two days later job application and told me they would not be considering me since I need sponsorship in future. I was confused then. But soon after 1 week of HR call, i got an interview invitation from the same person who gave presentation on the company and available position. The Interview was was very long lasting for 45-60mins. There were two rounds of Phone Interview, one with the hiring manager and other with the director. Questions were based on my academic and real world projects. They tested my analytical thinking by asking me some marketing based questions. After two rounds, I got selected for the onsite interview where I managed to meet 4 different people from the senior executive team. This entire process was my first taste on an American soil, i enjoyed it.
