Invited for an interview with Hofy Hr, Harriet. The interview went well and I was scheduled to meet COO (Michael). Michael cancelled the meeting 30 minutes before with no explanation. I had made special provision to work from home that day. I contacted Harriet, who said he was pulled into an important meeting. Ok things happen. The interview was rescheduled and once again I work from home, Michael joins the call late and apologies for running 4 hours behind, he was travelling in India, eating while on the video call. He gives me 15 minutes to talk about my experience and says he would normally ask a few account manager questions but I seem like a good fit so we will talk when he is back. He says he is travelling back the next day. A few days later I follow up with Harriet who tells me Michael is still travelling (interesting). A week or so goes by and I am told the job has been placed on hold and it will be some time before they come back to me. Strange as the new VP of sales has just shared a link to the job on LinkedIn. A few weeks later the job posting is renewed on LinkedIn. A polite follow up to Harriet goes unanswered. If you don’t want to hire me that’s your discretion but there is no reason to lie. Glad it didn’t happen! Not a company I think I would enjoy working at after all.

The interview process was quick, efficient and informative. There was never a point where I was left wondering when I would next hear back. Hofy set clear next steps which worked for both parties.
