There were two interviews via zoom. The first interview was by committee. Questions were pretty standard about diversity and teaching. I had to give a ten minute teaching demo, which of course is absurd. The second interview was with some dean and the chair of the dept. However, they kind of drop the second interview on you. I received a email with 1 sentence at about 3pm for a next day 10am slot with no other time options--not professional at all. This is a huge red flag. After the second interview, I had to provide more references because I guess the four I submitted to the committee was not enough. Then, I heard nothing for two months.
