I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ID.me in Oct 2023
Interview
Spoke to the recruiter ( a contractor really who had an ID.me email), then Hiring Manager (SVP level) and then an Engineering leader (SVP level). After a 45 minute Zoom call with the hiring manager, was told I would be considered for other Principal PM roles at ID. me along with the one I applied for. I was then given a case study. ( How do you get ID.me existing customers to use ID.me more). I spent 3 days thinking this through and writing up a multi-page response (almost 18 pages with words, mind maps, etc.) I was supposed to discuss this with another Product lead. NEVER HAPPENED. Instead spoke to the Engineering Lead for a 'culture' interview. I have no idea how he judged culture fit. He seemed like a real good and smart person regardless (ex Google and all that).2 Anyways, 2 days later got a rejection. Felt really weird and unprofessional. My suggestion is to not work as hard as I did on the case study. Not worth it unless you want to just keep your brain sharp.
