Very strange interview process, had a phone interview firstly then an invite to a face to face interview with an Area Manager which i was informed would entail comp based questions and a store analysis. A few minutes after the interview began,i was told that this was more of a chat than an interview, and there would be another stage if presumably the 'chat' went well, that would be interview/store walk as described. I felt the 'interview' was very awkward and something felt off, for example it was put to me that it appeared my current job was 'too much hard work and i didnt like it,hence my reasoning for the applicstion'.it was if i had been put forward by mistake, i was told at the end that the AM would know if 'i was lying' however i was also told that there didnt seem to be any reason not to call me back for the actual 'interview', however a week later i recieved an email saying i would not be progressing any further. Overall, a very strange experience - if this is standard procedure then i think it needs addressing so candidates are aware, if it was a rogue operative then the company may wish to address this so that the experience is transparent and consistent.If the company wishes to reach out to me i am happy to name names.

Not a long drawn out process. Shop walk and feedback in a SWOT style and then presented back in an interview. The situational questions were bog standard Interviewer was warm and inviting

Very quick and easy had to do psychometric tests online aswell. I would recommend anyone briefly go over some basic GCSE maths/fractions/percentages etc before doing them so you don’t get caught out.
