      Interview process was professional but they continued interviews despite having a finalist already identified; felt like a calibration candidate. Also was denied for reasons they never asked me about in the interview. Sort of felt like my interview was just a quota they had to fill.

      I interviewed at Illumio

      The position I applied to was listed as "Remote (New York)." During the initial interview with the recruiter, we discussed my location and it was mentioned that they probably wanted someone to work a hybrid schedule from the Sunnyvale office, but would confirm. This is something that should be clarified before inviting candidates to interview. The recruiter stated they had a meeting with the hiring manager the following day (Friday) and that I would hear early the following week. The entire next week goes by, and no update. The next week I sent an email to check-in, and I was told that there was meeting with the hiring manager the following day and that I will hear soon. Two days later, I received an automatically generated rejection email. If the candidate has taken time to interview and they've had correspondence with someone at the company, it seems like the rejection could at least come from the recruiter rather than an automated email.

      Thank you for sharing your feedback on how the CSA interview process went for you. Please accept my apology that the last communication you had about the role was electronic instead of a live call. Although there has been a lot of interest in our open positions, it's our policy that everyone who made space in their schedule to interview with us gets a live call if another candidate is selected.
