Not to be defensive, but as a best practice, good recruiters continue interviewing until an offer is signed. This helps ensure we’re prepared for any unexpected changes and keeps momentum in our hiring efforts. That said, we understand how this can feel discouraging from a candidate’s perspective, and we’re committed to being more transparent about where things stand.
We also want to clarify that we do not use “calibration candidates.” Every person we speak with is considered thoughtfully and with respect. As we continue to grow, we often keep strong candidates in mind for future opportunities—even if the current role isn’t the right fit.
