I recently interviewed for a role, and the process was supposed to evaluate me for two positions. However, during the interview, no questions were asked about the second position, which was disappointing. One of the interviewers, a developer and admin, frequently added incorrect or misleading information to my answers. At one point, I confidently confronted the interviewer, explaining that my answer was correct, as I use the functionality daily. Despite this, the interviewer continued to misinterpret the information, seemingly relying on simplified responses from ChatGPT. When the architect asked questions, I felt that I answered them very well. However, the developer consistently interrupted with incorrect points, which made the conversation more confusing. While I respect the company's decision, I hope they consider improving the technical evaluation process, ensuring that interviewers provide accurate feedback and that both roles are fairly assessed as intended.
