I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global in Jul 2016
Interview
I was contacted via Linkedin by a corporate recruiter. She thought I may "be a good fit for the company". I had a very short phone interview in which the recruiter spoke about the company's mission more so than inquiring about my work experience or what I was looking for in a job. She was very friendly, and the interview was quite laid-back. I was asked back for a second interview at their office. I did find it odd that I interviewed with the same woman I spoke with on the phone. It seemed a tad redundant. She said I would speak with others, however, that never occurred. After reading other reviews, I suppose that was because they were not intending to ask me back. I did most of the talking even in the second interview where much of the conversation did not revolve around the work but around popular culture. I usually steered the conversation towards the work and asked several questions, because although I am young, I want to ensure that I am being presented with a good opportunity. I would have liked to have known why they did not ask me back. I truly believe it was because they were interested in people who prefer to work in sales. I made it clear on the phone I was not interested in sales work, so I found it frustrating they asked me back when I expressed that prior given that I live a while away from their office. On a side note, the office definitely had a young vibrant way about it. There was quite a lot of noise in the background. I will say that it was courteous of the company to call you before the interview, and to walk you through the process.
I would say it has been Comfortable, professional, engaging. After phone screening it is 3 interviews total. Still going through the process but so far so good. I’ve enjoyed my experience thus far.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Calgary, AB) in Jul 2025
Interview
Conducted a screening call, followed by a virtual Teams interview, final rounds are with the local hiring team. However, I was given the impression that a follow up with the local hiring team would occur and the person I interviewed with would be on standby to reach out to for any further questions or support in the lead up to the local interview. After the first virtual interview however the talent specialist I was in touch with completely stopped responding to my emails and I did not hear anything from the local team. I was led to believe that I had made it to the next round of interviews and heard nothing beyond there which was super disappointing.

Interview
It was very informative and the person giving the interview was very kind. They were very interested in getting to know you and getting to know how your experience/ soft skills would be beneficial to the job. Learned a lot about what the job entailed as well.
