Interview
I applied through their website. I was a desperate recent college graduate wanting some sort of job. A corporate recruiter then reached out and we talked on the phone. He talked so fast i thought he was going to malfunction. A week later I went in for an in person interview. He told me to dress professional and wear lots of makeup and do my hair. "Doll-up" essentially. I go in for the interview and the corporate recruiter is there talking faster than ever to prep me. He tells me I'll have 3 rounds of interviews with 3 different people.
I go in for the interview with an account manager. She could have not been more disingenuous if she tried. She asked me if I was in Greek Life and how I like to have fun in my free time. She asked me the standard tell me about yourself question with absolutely no follow up. I tried to pick her brain, but there was not a lot of brain to pick to be honest. After the brief interview with her she said she was going to grab the other guy to interview me. I sat in the conference room thinking this is the worst interview I've ever had. Then interview got even worst! She gave me the standard "Oh he's not in right now!" I know that's the biggest lie in the book just tell me you hate me! It gets better though! She goes "well here's your parking validation for the parking garage." She escorted (I mean pushed me) out the front doors of their office space. At the moment I just stood in front of the doors thinking what in the world just happened. I was just part of a quota for the corporate recruiter that day.
A week later the corporate recruiter tries to follow-up and asks me how it went I told him the truth that it went terribly and was rushed. He then calls me back and says "you know I'm really disappointed right now, I really wanted them to move forward with you, but they've decided to go in another direction."
I had never been so happy to touch the end call button on my iPhone.
To this day I still received messages from Insight Global recruiters on LinkedIn. They immediately get deleted. Most of the people from my college have gone on to better places after churning at IG for less than 8 months.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Hartford, CT) in Dec 2024
Interview
The interview process was relatively easy and the people were nice. Sales managers seemed very serious and often standoffish. Their employees were extremely welcoming and seemed to like where they worked.

Interview
Very long and in depth. Initial call with recruiter who helps and prepares you along the way for the rest of the interviews. Most were longer, an hour+, then final was in person.
