I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Insight Global (San Luis Obispo, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
I was approached by the recruiter via school's career website, meet her on campus soon after. The following week I interviewed on campus with a corporate recruiting manager.
All I can say is it was probably the worst interview ever, a total waste of time.
The interviewer didn't know how to lead. After skimming through my resume she assumed my major to be something it wasn't. I was the one asking all the questions about her and her job. All she did was tell me how she's a corporate recruiter, and name-dropped all the big tech companies in the Bay Area and how they are her clients.
She had lost me by then, all I could think was - there's no way I working for/with this person. I smiled, looked at my watch, took my folder, told her I might be over-qualified for this job, and left the room. I was scheduled for an hour slot, I left after 20 minutes.
Don't waste your time. From my experience, you don't want this experience.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Insight Global (Vancouver, BC)
Interview
They reached out to me. Great communication and straightforward process: 3 rounds of interviews including one screening call, one interview and an in person interview and shadowing day in office.
Two rounds of interviews to see whether or not you’re a good fit - translation if they can boss you around and make you do things beyond the job description
3 round interview process. 2 remote and the last one was onsite at the ATL HQ. They were friendly, I had a good time, but ultimately didn’t get the job
