I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global in Oct 2016
Interview
A recruiter from Insight Global contacted me regarding a job opportunity with a software consulting company, after finding my resume online. My recruiter acted as a dedicated, personal contact who facilitated communication between me and the employer. He was always very quick to update me on any new information regarding the interview process, often speaking with me both before and after interviews. The interview process for this particular company took about a month and a half, so I was very grateful that my recruiter was on top of things and was very quick to respond to my questions, whether by email or phone call. Overall, I was very pleased with the work Insight Global did and was impressed by their professionalism and respect shown to me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked to complete a Kata programming exercise. My recruiter sent me the relevant documents describing the project, and he stressed the importance of me following the exact steps and methods that the hiring company wanted me to follow.
I recently completed the first round of interviews, which focused primarily on Core Java and Spring Boot concepts, including Java 8 features, Collections, Streams, Spring annotations, bean scopes, and microservices fundamentals. I successfully cleared the round and have been invited for the final on-site interview in Hyderabad.

I applied online. I interviewed at Insight Global in Feb 2026
Interview
The recruitment process was disorganized and lacked professionalism.
The tone during interactions felt dismissive and condescending, with little regard for the candidate’s experience or time. The approach came across as arrogant rather than respectful.
After the interviews, there was no proper follow-up or closure, only silence.
A professional hiring process requires structure, respect, and accountability. That standard was not met here.
I would not recommend engaging with this company’s hiring process.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Insight Global (Hyderābād) in Dec 2025
