I reached out to a recruiter my junior year asking about internships - she politely told me that they did not offer them but to reach back out closer to graduation. Following that, I received an e-mail each semester from the same recruiter, inviting me to apply/interview. Each time I reminded her that I was not graduating until the following May, she apologized, and said she'd reach back out. Kind of odd if you ask me. Well, finally the semester of my graduation came, and I met her on campus for an interview. It went fine, your standard interview asking about yourself. She said that the next step is to go into the office and meet with the account managers. The first two interviewers I really enjoyed, I was instructed to lead the interview, which was no problem until the last interviewer. She was loud and obnoxious and interrupted every question I asked. At the end of it, they take you into the office where they yell "HEY EVERYONE! This is ____" and each person (50-100 people) walks up in a single file line and shakes your hand and introduces themselves.. Yeah. I was told I'd hear back in a few days and I received an e-mail saying I wasn't a good fit for the company. Funny enough, 2 weeks later, I received an e-mail from the original recruiter with the same exact script I'd heard 5 times at this point, asking me to come in for an informational interview on campus. Interesting how they can't even keep their candidates straight after they reject them. Thank god I didn't get the job. They tend to choose people without experience who are desperate for a job/money and lure them in under the premise of happy hours and vacations. Friends that work there are miserable and I can't believe I once admired Insight Global.
