I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Phoenix, AZ) in Apr 2018
Interview
The interview process started with a recruiter who reached out to me via LinkedIn. I did a phone interview with the same recruiter and she made it sound like I had the job and invited me to an in-person interview at the phoenix location. When I arrived at the office, it was a large building with multiple offices and very little guidance and instruction as to where their location is. Once I was able to find the office (8th floor), I walked into an empty room with a small card on the table that instructed you to dial some extension on a nearby phone. They told me to please wait in the lobby for my someone to come get. Someone finally came after 10 minutes and I greeted them with enthusiasm (as I thought they were the one interviewing me). Turns out it was the same person on the phone who told me to wait there which made for an awkward introduction. I was then led to a conference room where I sat for another 5 minutes and waited for my interviewer. The interview seemed rushed and my interviewer did not smile once or even seem remotely interested. She didn't ask me anything regarding my experience. Mostly just personal questions like why sales and what motivates you. The interview ended after 5-10 minutes and when I asked some questions at the end, I got some basic answers and again, no smiles or anything. I've done a ton of interviews and this one was just awkward and honestly a waste of time. I reached out to the recruiter at the end and had to contact her 3-4 times to get a response. After the fourth contact she told me they went with another candidate but offered to let me interview at a different location (not interested).

Smooth phone screening process. I felt like my answers were adequately answered and I am interested to learn more. I am hesitant as the position does seem like it may be too good to be true.
Small talk is the most importantly part of the interview process. They hire soley for personality and drive so if you show you can be natural with conversation that sets you apart.
easy just have to know how to small talk. they look for depth in your answers and how you can push yourself to be better. they just want to see that you can drive the conversation and be curious about the positon. no experience necesarry.. easy but tbh toxic work env iroment
