I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
you go through an initial phone screen with what they call a 'corporate recruiter' and basically they're just trying to see if you can hold a conversation and if your personality shines through a phone screen. (they want to see that you're outgoing and have the ability to build relationships)
If you pass that, then you're scheduled to come on site. You'll meet the sales manager and several account managers (you won't meet other recruiters) and basically it'll be the same thing - you'll just have conversations with them; try and be likable - ask questions about them and how they got here, what do account managers do? what's their favorite part? how did they know they wanted to be in sales? etc. Just have a fun natural conversation. You'll know you passed if you meet more than 2 people. If they send you home after 2 people, you probably didn't make it (everyone else could have been busy, but highly unlikely)
- if you pass THAT, then you're invited to lunch. It's usually with the sales manager. Sometimes they bring another account manager sometimes they don't - it just depends. This is the true test. Make sure you're the one driving conversation. Make it personal - get to know them and the goal is to see that you can make a connection with them and that your personality shines and again; that you're likable. That's what sales is all about - building relationships!

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Insight Global (Vancouver, BC)
Interview
They reached out to me. Great communication and straightforward process: 3 rounds of interviews including one screening call, one interview and an in person interview and shadowing day in office.
Two rounds of interviews to see whether or not you’re a good fit - translation if they can boss you around and make you do things beyond the job description
3 round interview process. 2 remote and the last one was onsite at the ATL HQ. They were friendly, I had a good time, but ultimately didn’t get the job
