I had sent my resume through a Craigslist ad;not even a full week I got a phone call to set up an phone interview. I had the phone interview with the region director for the area. We talked for almost 40 minutes. Basically going through my job history, and her going through the job and the benefits. She Scheduled me with an in person interview for just a couple of days later and said that there would be an email for me to confirm and choose a time. Email came and I went to the interview at a Mc Donalds. She had her laptop out and we went through some of the store's day to day operations and she also had me fill out a paper application. She did a once over and checked to see if I had added anything extra. And she shook my hand and walked me back to the Insomnia cookies store. Which was across the street while we were setting up times to schedule the next phone interview this time with the senior director of operations. A couple of days later I had the interview with him, less than 25 minutes. He told me a lot about the company's inner workings and asked me a whole bunch of questions related to my job history and "how would I handle this" type questions We ended it with him letting me know that the regional gal would get back intouch later this week. She called nit even an hour later and I scheduled my final interview with the COO which would be done over phone. I talked to him for 7 minutes, I kid you not. He asked me to tell him about myself, and asked why I wanted this job. Then he said alright and it was nie to meet me. The regional lady got back to me that same day to let me know that I have gotten passed all interviews and will need to just pass a background and wait for that to come back so they can make an official offer. Filled that out on Friday it came back Tuesday all clear. She then started references that I had put on the application. And sure enough that same night I was filling out new hire paper work!!!

As this is a store manager role, the interview process is quite in-depth, beginning with an initial interview with another store manager. Much of the interview focuses on operational competencies, including hiring, onboarding, team leadership, facilities management, and ordering supplies. The second stage of the interview process takes place with the district manager and focuses on similar competencies. A final interview occurs with the regional manager, but I can't attest to what is covered in that interview since I didn't make it that far.
