I met very nice people, product designers, a researcher, a product manager, and a design manager. The recruiter was simply excellent, kind, and careful. She guided me through every step of the interviewing process, giving me all the information needed to prepare.
The entire interviewing process was: recruiter screening, app critique, project review, portfolio presentation, project deep-dive, problem-solving exercise, Q&A with the design manager.
I didn't get an offer, but the recruiter provided me with full feedback about every interview. My only concern with the hiring process is that besides having a very high-quality bar and totally agreeing with the feedback I received, I didn't feel like they're open to hiring someone who's not exactly ready for the position, but has potential. I understand Intercom is a company being careful not to take risks and trying to hire the best, which is okay.
Overall, it was a very good experience.
