Pros

- There is an incredible amount of autonomy given to ICs at all levels. No red tape and small feedback loops with PMs/designers allow for shipping at great speed. - You are not confined to boundaries defined by your role. Infact with AI, people are often encouraged to expand beyond what they would traditionally do within their roles. - On the ML side, the company runs a full breadth of projects ranging research/speculative to customer/impact-driven. Flexibility to move across different types of projects is very helpful in shaping careers. - Business has a solid AI revenue. Not a bolt-on, not a wrapper. Full stack AI capability that is core to the business and generating growing revenue.

Cons

Several fast moving teams tends to generate information silos with multiple folk working on similar problems - this often leads to normalisation problems afterwards. Change of what we consider"strategic" initiatives sometimes feels abrupt and knee-jerky.
