I applied online. The Global Recruiter sent me an email for the 1st interview. A few days later the local team called me to have meeting at their offices, although I didn't have the call with the recruiter yet. I asked them to send me an email confirmation but they couldn't. The recruiter was kind and was impressed by my background. However I was overqualified and the budget was super low for Team Leader position so we didn't proceed to the next steps. An advice to the local office: Improve communication with the global team and re-evaluate salary structures to attract and retain professional talent.
