Interview
interviewed with the general manager. took about an hour. lots of questions about what I was interested in and my previous work experience. He was a character and so you can of just had to let him rant on about whatever he wanted to rant on about. Didn't really like how he wanted to know how much money I was making or what my hourly wage was from previous jobs. Didn't see how that was relevant to applying to be an intern.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at JCPenney (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2019
Interview
They were very personable and invested in all of our conversations. I had 3 rounds of phone interviews, then they flew me to Dallas and had a hotel for me for the final round of interviews with no cost. They had many people interviewing possible interns, showing they all care about the process and the people coming in.
