I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at JCPenney (Tulsa, OK) in Mar 2015
Interview
Got a call within two weeks. It was a group interview. Managers had blocks set out on a table and asked the group to build a tower with them without the tower falling down. There was an ipad that the group used to look at pictures of what to build. Teamwork and communication was very important for this task because if you didn't match up the correct color of the blocks the tower built would not match up with the picture and the group would have to start over and build it again.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at JCPenney (Pittsburgh, PA) in Jun 2015
Interview
They called me the day after I applied online. They gave me a phone-interview and asked if I could come in the next day for a group interview. There were five of us total and we performed a team exercise-- each of us had a turn to look at a model on an iPad for 10 seconds and then we had to describe how to build it to our teammates. It was fun and very laid-back. Then we were individually pulled aside and they told me I got the job! Everybody was really nice.. this was the most fun interview I've ever had.
