Interview
I was first contacted through a phone interview, then they asked me to come in for a group interview. the group interview was fun, we did activities like paired up with other members and acted out a customer-employee scenario ( be sure to mention the JCP credit card!- both as a customer and a employee). We also were given sheets of paper with an idea on it, to which each of us had to "sell" this idea to the JCP board (the other candidates) and at the end, everyone would discuss the best sales pitch and vote on one.The group interviews are fun because they let you get to know your possible new co-workers. After that I believe we were left there to chat amongst ourselves and they showed some boring video about lost prevention.

None i can remember, but a big wonker is always the "If you caught an employee stealing..." the right answer is to always low-key tell a manager. Boom, just saved you some cool points
It was overall an easy interview. In a group setting of interviewees, we were asked to each talk about what we thought good customer service was. Then, we had some blocks to build a structure, a house I remember. Without the person you were instructing being able to see the blueprint, you had to describe what to do with the blocks without touching the blocks. I didn't know how I did, but I got hired. This was the holidays of 2017. :)

I got a phone call to schedule an interview, which was quick and convenient. In the interview, one of the managers asked me star scenario questions and asked why I wanted to work for JCP. At the end of the interview, I got an offer.
