I applied online. I interviewed at JCPenney (Vancouver, WA) in Nov 2015
Interview
Group interview with six other applicants. They gave each applicant two scenarios for how to make the store have a more customer friendly experience, and you chose one of those, had a few minutes to prepare a presentation, then tried to convince the group to choose your plan. The group then decided the best option together and told the HR representative their decision.

Question 1
Please introduce yourself and explain your background.
It was overall an easy interview. In a group setting of interviewees, we were asked to each talk about what we thought good customer service was. Then, we had some blocks to build a structure, a house I remember. Without the person you were instructing being able to see the blueprint, you had to describe what to do with the blocks without touching the blocks. I didn't know how I did, but I got hired. This was the holidays of 2017. :)
