JCPenney Senior Software Engineer Mobile interview questions

Very bad interview process . I applied through a consultancy and the interview was scheduled. 1st round was written the Face to face . i cleared both even the interviewer was so impressed that he told me straight that you are selected for next round. Then HR told me that next round will be with the senior manager who sits in the US and i had to attend the call at 5 AM in the morning. HR pleaded that please make it you were good we hope that you will definitely make it. I agreed and ready at 5AM . The manager came on time and asked me about my previous work , agile ,scrum and 15 mins he was done with interview. later in the noon i got a call from the consultancy that my profile was rejected as i have no retail background for ANdroid apps. I was so frustrated and told them this could have been checked before shortlisting and they stopped replying to my mails. Highly unprofessional.
