Interviewed with recruiter + hiring managers and then crickets.. Had to chase them only to get the same answer over and over again and then was told that the position is on hold and it would be reopened in the future (This is a 1.5 month process of interviews, etc.) till they fill in the role of someone who quit. umm...what?? so that means I'd have to reapply for the role again? Unprofessional, non responsive. Employers should realize that job seekers spend as much time prepping for the interview only to be told it's on hold or really get no response back whatsoever. Why did I have to chase them? Why not the company send a courteous email to update them?
