I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jobber (Edmonton, AB) in Jul 2023
Interview
1. One hour phone interview with another Talent Acquisition Specialist on the team.
2. A take-home assignment with 3 questions related to the role (1 was to source 3 candidates for a mock job posting they provide).
There are two more interviews after this stage, but I did not make it through to them.
I would say that the 2 hour expectation for the Take Home assignment is not reasonable and I feel that if I only spent that much time, my submission would not have been great. I think I could have provided more commentary in my thought process. It can be difficult to convey authenticity when one is not truly immersed in the role/company and instead in a simulated environment. But fair enough!
While I did not get to proceed to the next step, the TAS was timely and responsive and was accountable to their timeline commitments in terms of response, which I truly appreciated. This is a green flag about their processes and culture.
The other aspect that I found helpful, was the purposeful feedback they provided about where I missed the opportunity. It was helpful and clear and I did not finish reading the rejection and immediately begin crying. I am walking away better equipped. I would recommend Jobber to others and I will potentially apply again in the future.
Thank you Jobber!
I got a phone screening call to discuss my experience at a high level. My application was then passed on to the next step, and I got an invitation to interview. I then did the interview.
4 stages, one practical and the rest normal interview style. Normal sales interview questions with nice managers doing the interviews, final is with the director of sales. Once you go through all four stages they get back to you quickly.
