John Lewis & Partners Retail Assistant interview questions

It was great. We got invited to the staff area in John Lewis which was massive. This was for the Xmas Temp role. We did a group assessment in a room with 9 other people at least. We split into two groups of 4 or 5, and we had been set a task on how to approach a certain customer situation. We had to talk loud and clear for the assessors to hear us clearly and assess you on company values. My advice is, revise the values and apply it to the things you talk about, that will make you stand out as I was the ONLY one in my group that talked about the values. The assesors were really nice and warm, and I could kind of tell they were happy with my performance after I got smiles as I left the room. Even though it is a temp role, hopefully it can progress to a permanent position :) 2 days after I got an email saying I had passed the group interview with a job offer.
